Arnold palmer

Teen years 

While playing for the Tatrobe High school golf team, Palmer lost only one match in four years. During
his senior years he meet Bub Worsham, whose brother was a professional golfer. Palmer accepted a golf scholarship at Wake Forest College in North Carolina. During Palmer's senior years in college, Worsham was killed in a car crash. After Worsham's death, Palmer left school and joined the coast guard, In 1954 he won the National Amateur Championship.

Begins pro career

Palmer became a professional golfer in 1954. A mouth later he married Winnie Walzer, he had met while playing in an amateur tournament. In 1955 Palmer won the Canadian Open, earning twenty four hundred dollars. He won three tournaments in 1956 and four in 1957. Palmer became the richest athlete in the world.

CRICKET



Cricket is a bat and ball game between two teams of 11 players on a field, with a 22-yard pitch. One team bats and trys to get as much runs as possible. While the other team trys to bowl them all out.
In cricket you can play for 20 or 50 over. You can play a test match, that goes for 5days with 2innings.
A bowler bowls 6 balls in a over.
Cricket was first played in southern England in the 16th century. By the end of the 18th century, it had developed into a national sport.
A cricket field is 137-150 metres (150-160yd) in diameter, the shape of the field is often a oval. behind each
batsmen theres a target called
a wicket.

Arnold Palmer

Arnold Palmer was a very good golfer. He won the masters and lot of majors, he also has his own tournament call the Arnold Palmer invitational.

GOLF

Golf is a  club and ball sport, in which competing players use many types of club to hit balls into a series of holes on a golf course using the fewest number of strokes, playing a ball with a club from the teeing ground into the hole by a stroke or successive strokes.
